London Calling

Today I'm in London! I should be touching down at the airport right now. Because I'm excited, I'd like to share some of my favourite pictures from my previous visit, back in October 2014. A few shots I took in Belfast City Airport, while my friend Dawn and I were waiting for our flight:

My first time in an airport, my first time on a plane... I was very excited.

England from above.

We stayed in a hotel in Canary Wharf. That's where we had breakfast too.

Full English - appropriate.

When I'm cleaning windows...

To the Underground! Before this trip I was scared of escalators - now I'm not phased at all.

I can find dogs anywhere.

The poppies at the Tower of London.

Some very different views from those at home.

Trafalgar Square:

Buckingham Palace:

Canary Wharf as the sun goes down.

Day two dawned cloudy.

We visited the Cabinet War Rooms.

A doodle of Hitler on a map.

Mrs Churchill's bedroom.

Back in the Underground.

The Natural History Museum.

We had lunch at a beautifully designed restaurant.

A foggy night begins in Canary Wharf.

Day three, and we visited Piccadilly Circus.

We saw the Queen and her corgi (sort of).

Lots of red buses.

Waffles on Baker Street.

Then I dragged poor Dawn, who at the time was not a Sherlock fan, to North Gower Street. I touched The Door, but I couldn't open it because it was SHERlocked. Ha ha! Ha ha... Anyway...

It was back on the Tube to go to the airport.

Dawn watching the planes at the window.

Some unusual lighting in the lounge.

Touching down at home.

I hope we both have a good time today. Lots of shopping!
