Christmas Comes Early

Yesterday was literally Christmas for me. Sadly, without a Christmas dinner, but with a take away, so it wasn't so bad... Anyway, I got my Christmas present. A new camera. A shiny Canon 550D DSLR. I got it so I could do my homework. But more so I could take pictures of my dogs looking all shiny...

Mum, what is that black and shiny thing?

My photography course has taught me a lot, but I'm still not completely confident with the manual controls and focus. Shutter speeds, however, I know. Running dogs!

See Teddy's 'I'm gonna annoy Ben' face? It's really fun to take photos of the dogs posing (and easier to get the focus right there too).

Pip managed to find the football from a few weeks ago.

Teddy wanted to play with it too. Wasn't going to happen. *Ball and Pip make swift exit*

Ben wouldn't let Teddy play with the ball either. Life is cruel that way.

The ball-hogging was interrupted by a posing session.

The sun was quickly setting and I was running out of time to take photos.

Pip wasn't going to give up her football very easily.

And I'll leave you, my friends, with this photo of funniness.

Merry Christmas!

  2. Ben, it appears, had finally endured enough, and reminded Teddy of the pack's pecking order.

  3. Wow, looks like that new flashy beast works just great! Good pix. Um...I think someone's tooth did a bad thing to that ball. Looking a little deflated! BOL
