I did a lot of waiting yesterday, and so did Fly. Here she is waiting to get out of the Land Rover to round up some ewes.
However, as soon as Fly got out of the Land Rover, the quad was ready and we made our way down the steep lane at one of our out farms. Halfway down, dad's phone rang.
*Sigh* "What is it now?"
"Please can we go now?"
One hand on the phone, the other on the dog.
Like an annoyed teenager, she was...
Fed up with bordom, Fly decided to watch the sheep she was going to round up.
The sheep safelt gathered in, it was my turn to do the waiting. We had brought the Land Rover and trailer with us, but the quad took up so much room that the ewes wouldn't fit in along with it. That meant that dad would have to take the quad home, then return for the sheep. I stayed with them so that I could keep an eye on them.
After a while he returned, and we took the sheep home.
When they were home and unloaded, dad decided to have another lengthy conversation - this time with my granny.
I grabbed Ben and did some more waiting.
Look at that tounge! Good grief!
I think I'm an expert at waiting now (that's my favourite hat)...
I'll just go wait on something else...
