Little Plasticine Pups!

I found these little Plasticine cuties when I was tiding my room yesterday.

I really love them! I must have made them 4 or 5 years ago. They've been in my wardrobe ever since, and look like they've managed alright.

In case you're finding it difficult to make out which breeds they are, I'll go through them one-by-one...

This one is a Weimaraner (blue eyes, see?).

And this one's an Irish Red Setter.

This one's a Scottish Terrier.

And this one's a little Pekingese.

He even has little black paws! Aww!

This one's a Standard Poodle.

(Love the hairstyle!)

A rather strange-looking Dalmatian.

Some sort of Fox Terrier.

And finally, this one's a Shar Pei (complete with wrinkles).

I then took some photos of similar dogs together:

Then I realized that something was missing - where was the Border Collie?! It's my favourite breed - so why didn't I make it?

It took me 10 minutes to fix the problem.

Can you tell what it is yet?

Problem solved. I think they look a whole lot better now, don't you?

  1. How creative!!! Those are just adorable. We love the Shar Pei, the Scottish Terrier, and of course, the Border Collie the best, but they are all really good. Thanks for sharing - time to find a special place to display them now.

  2. You've got some talent there! I could only hope to attempt to make something that looked half as good as that!

    Happy Wednesday!

  5. You make that look too easy! I especially love the peke, with his little black feet, but the boys were asking were the golden was. (grin)

    Too cute! :)
