Take Part in Ben’s Birthday Bash!

It’s now less than a month to wait for Ben’s 1st brithday on December 5th, so what better way to celebrate than to make sure as many pooches as possible can come along! This year we are going to hold a two-day bash – the first day for guests (you) and the next for Ben himself, with the rest of our own dogs. Here are the rules:
  1. You dogs must be outside, with no flash. We want to see your eyes.
  2. You can upload it to Ben’s Facebook Page, or email it to us. More details on that below.
  3. You have to agree for it to be uploaded to Flickr for use on our blog.
  4. You can wear a party hat if you wish, but no costumes.
If we do use your photo, we’ll edit it in Picnik, and upload it to Flickr. We’ll link to your blog in the birthday post. You have until Sunday, 28th November, 2010 to get your photos in.

You can attach them to an email with the subject “Ben” and send your photos to ghfsheepdogs@live.co.uk.

Or, you can visit Ben’s Facebook Page, “like” it and upload your photos there. The photo there with the most likes will get a signed Christmas card from Ben himself! Photos emailed will not be included in the Christmas card competition.

Thanks everyone! So, what are you waiting for? Send those photos in!

And on another slightly less exciting note, Karen from Wyndson Farm mentioned Ben’s “saddle” back. I really don’t know what it is. Can anyone tell me?
Ben

He has some lovely smooth fur on his sides and legs, then longer, harsher fur on his back and tail. Do all dogs have that? Or is Ben special?

She doesn’t think that I’m special. Mew.

I do think that you’re special, it’s just that I’ve never had a brown dog before, and I was wondering. Moving on…

Pip’s now 12 weeks old, and she’s growing into a real princess!

And here’s a random flower!

So don’t forget, send us your photos before November 28th 2010. We can’t wait to see them!

  1. Oh Boy! I love parties! Will there be cake and ice cream?
I have coarser and longer hair on my back too. Mom says its like a Beattle's cut cuz it is longer and straighter too. I've had it since I was a little pup. Mom said she was tempted to cut it the same length as the rest but now she has grown to love it a-natural. The only thing that gets trimmed is my tail and the bottom of my feet.

  2. A party! How fun. We will try to get a picture to you. It might have to be an old one because it is raining outside. Not good weather for picture taking :)
