Wet & Windy

The weather here is very wet an windy - we had a little shower of sleet, though. On a break in the rain I decided to take some photos of Sheila and Ben.

We were going to run out of light very soon.

I've clipped Ben's ears - they were extremely scruffy.

His face! So handsome!

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ALL OF US HERE AT GREENHILL FARM!

Oh, look at Holly—spider!

Holly, Suckie's lamb for this year, was born back in March (a post about it here). Since then she's gotten very, very big.

She's a lot like her mum.

She's a very pretty little sheep indeed.

I'm not keeping her, sadly, because I'm trying to get out of Sukie's bloodline - the lambs are too small and stumpy and don't fatten well. So if all goes to plan Holly is Suckie's last lamb.

On the day I took these photos, spiders were everywhere.

The babies were floating through the air with their lines of thread. Many landed on me, on the camera - it was not fun at all.

It look a lot of spiders to make all those threads! The lambs weren't as bothered about the spiders flying right at them as I was.

Some Photos of Little Pippin Squeaks

Pip has yet another nickname - Pipsqueak! It's because when she gets excited she starts to squeak and it's really quite cute.

And she comes to Pippin Squeaks when called now. Squeak, squeak.

Visiting the (Petting) Zoo

...Or my friend Toni's house. Lots of animals there. There are the dogs; three Jack Russells - Stan:

And Stan's half-brother Ollie:

There's miss pointy-ears herself, Poppy:

The other lady in the pack is Honey (Bunny Boo-Boo):

And finally, there's the Yorkie, Oni:

Cutie-patooty family.

Oh and there's a dragon. His name's Zeus. His friend Zelda wasn't in the mood for posing.

Just chillin'.

Thanks for letting me visit, guys. I'll show myself to the door, Ollie.

Pip and Autumn Leaves

I joined a camera club about a month ago and the first thing I had to do was take a photo of autumn. So Pip and I spent a good chunk of a morning searching out a good photo for autumn. I got some lovely portraits of her along the way!

And despite all of the autumn leaves around, I ended up choosing this one as my autumn photo:

In other news, I took these with my new 50mm lens. It's very good indeed!
