Happy smiley face

You happy? You smiley? You ever visited Riley?

Yes!
Happy Smiley Face

Oh Pip. She is one of the bounciest puppies I have ever met. She climbs up on everything, and it’s not always the best things that she’s climbing on (the counter at the vet’s, for one). Pip’s love of jumping, climbing and general movement mean that it’s taking me a while to teach her to sit, never mind stay.

But never fear, for I have a secret weapon – funny sounds! Funny sounds are brilliant. She just sits and listens for ten seconds before she looses interest. Long enough to take photos, at least.

In reaction to a high-pitched “Bloop, bloop, bloop, bloop, etc.”, Pip sits like this:
Pip

In reaction to a high-pitched “Blee, blee, blee, blee, etc.”, Pip sits like this:
Pip

In reaction to “Sit”, she sits like this:
Pip

Not at all. Sigh.

But I am able to get her to sit with funny noises – who needs commands anyway?
